Creating an analog forest

Can an analog forest be created with grafted/marcotted fruit tree species to take advantage of the shorter fruiting period in order to improve the economic livelihood of the farmers in the short term (4-5 years) while maintaining ecosystem integrity with indigenous species in the long term?

Yes, exotic or native species can be grafted and used in the design for the reasons you mention. The only considerations would be that generally grafted species are sometimes smaller, so the structure and/or Formula Physiognomic height may be altered.
