The Agroecological Identity Seal visibilizes organic producers and recognizes their efforts, while providing them an identity in the market and among consumers.
The seal seeks to contribute to food sovereignty and security as well as to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, where forests play the most important role.
The evaluation is performed by inspectors trained in INBIOTEC – technicians from support organizations and/or producer organizations. Since its launch, several requests for evaluations have been received, this being a good indicator that the label, which involves Analog Forestry, will generate significant contributions to producers as well as in Bolivia’s public policies.
IAFN supports the first three organizations and family businesses that received the seal during the month of March and our partner, PROBIOMA, drivers of this valuable effort in benefit of producers, the ecosystems and food sovereignty.
